Bengaluru, Feb. 14: Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Arkavathy celebrated the birth anniversary of three great saints and kirtan composers – Purandara Das, Kanaka Das and Thyagaraja. Students delivered speeches highlighting the lives, philosophies and musical heritage of the three scholars. The music department organised the programme.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಫೆ 14: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಅರ್ಕಾವತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂವರು ಮಹಾನ್ ಸಂತ, ಕೀರ್ತನಾಕಾರರಾದ ಪುರಂದರ ದಾಸ, ಕನಕ ದಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ತ್ಯಾಗರಾಜರ – ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮೂವರು ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸರ ಜೀವನ, ತತ್ವಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಗೀತ ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸುವ ಭಾಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಸಂಗೀತ ವಿಭಾಗವು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿತು.
