Bengaluru, June 5: World Environment Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Arkavathy. Students of class 5 highlighted the importance of the day and created awareness about the ban on plastic bags, the use of cloth bags and effective management of plastic waste.And sang a song dedicated to Mother Earth.After giving saplings to the Principal and Vice Principal, a student led the assembly and preached the environmental pledge and all the teachers and students promised to protect nature.Students of class 9 and 10 visited the neighbourhood and distributed Tulsi saplings,Some students cycled in nearby areas and shouted slogans about the importance of protecting nature and celebrating the spirit of World Environment Day.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜೂ. 5: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಅರ್ಕಾವತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.5ನೇ ವರ್ಗದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಬೆಳಕು ಚೆಲ್ಲುತ್ತ ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್‌ ಚೀಲವನ್ನು ನಿಷೇಧಿಸುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಚೀಲವನ್ನು ಬಳಸುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್‌ ವೇಸ್ಟ್‌ ನ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಎಚ್ಚರ ಮೂಡಿಸಿದರು. ಹಾಗೂ ಭೂಮಿ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತ ಹಾಡನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು. ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ಮತ್ತು ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಿಗೆ ಸಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಬಳಿಕ, ಒಬ್ಬ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯು ಸಭೆಯ ನೇತೃತ್ವ ವಹಿಸಿ ಪರಿಸರ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದನು ಹಾಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಭರವಸೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. 9 ಮತ್ತು 10 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ನೆರೆಹೊರೆಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ತುಳಸಿ ಸಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಿದರು, ಕೆಲವು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹತ್ತಿರದ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈಕಲ್ ಸವಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನದ ಚೈತನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಘೋಷಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಗಿದರು.
