Bengaluru, Jan. 26: Republic Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Arkavathy. Major Divyanshu Raj, the chief guest of the program, hoisted the flag, received the honors and spoke, saying, “Do anything for the country with selflessness, devotion and control,” and remembered heroes like Chhatrapati Shivaji. Referring to the borders of India, he said that a good nation can be built only when we have unity, solidarity and patriotism in diversity. He explained about the ‘Naam (name of the country) – Namak (debt of the country) – Nishani (goal)’ of the Indian Army. Then, speaking to the students about achievements and service to the nation, he encouraged them by saying that the idea of a developed India starts from the school classrooms. Therefore, if you cannot fly, then run, if you cannot run, then walk, if you cannot walk, then crawl, and reach the goal. Keep moving forward together.” Later, the co-founder of Metamefes, Smt. Shakuntala Ajit Bhandarkar, presented awards to the winners of various competitions in the arts, sports and academics, while the chief guest, Major Divyandu Raj, distributed awards to the winners of various competitions organized by the school for the parents. Various cultural programs and attractive processions were also held by the students on this day. An ‘Aavishkar’ exhibition was also organized by the students of the school during this time.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜ. 26: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಅರ್ಕಾವತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅಭ್ಯಾಗತರಾಗಿ ಮೇಜರ್ ದಿವ್ಯಾಂಶು ರಾಜ್ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿ, ಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ಮಾಡಿ, ಗೌರವ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ, “ನೀವು ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಏನನ್ನಾದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥತೆ, ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣದಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ, ಛತ್ರಪತಿ ಶಿವಾಜಿ ಮೊದಲಾದ ವೀರರನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದರು. ಭಾರತದ ಎಲ್ಲೆಗಳನ್ನುಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ವಿವಿಧತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕತೆ, ಭಾವೈಕ್ಯತೆ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಭಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನಾವು ಹೊಂದಿದಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಉತ್ತಮ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಸಾಧ್ಯ ಎಂದರು. ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸೈನ್ಯದ ‘ನಾಮ್ (ದೇಶದ ಹೆಸರು) – ನಮಕ್ ( ದೇಶದ ಋಣ) – ನಿಶಾನಿಗಳ (ಗುರಿ) ಕುರಿತು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ನಂತರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಾಧನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಸೇವೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ, ವಿಕಸಿತ ಭಾರತದ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಯು ಶಾಲೆಯ ತರಗತಿಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಿಮಗೆ ಹಾರಲಾಗದಿದ್ದರೆ ಓಡಿ, ಓಡಲಾಗದಿದ್ದರೆ ನಡೆಯಿರಿ, ನಡೆಯಲಾಗದಿದ್ದರೆ ತೆವಳಿಕೊಂಡಾದರೂ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ತಲುಪಿ. ಒಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದುವರೆಯುತ್ತಿರಿ” ಎಂದು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು.ನಂತರ ಕಲೆ, ಕ್ರೀಡೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳ ವಿವಿಧ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜೇತರಾದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮೆಟಾಮೀಫೆಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಹ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶಕುಂತಲಾ ಅಜಿತ್ ಭಂಡಾರ್ಕರ್ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ, ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅಭ್ಯಾಗತರಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದ ಮೇಜರ್ ದಿವ್ಯೇಂದು ರಾಜ್ ಅವರು ಪೋಷಕರಿಗಾಗಿ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದ ವಿವಿಧ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳ ವಿಜೇತರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ದಿನದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ವಿವಿಧ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು, ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ಪಥಸಂಚಲನಗಳೂ ನಡೆದವು. ಈ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ‘ಆವಿಷ್ಕಾರ ‘ ವಸ್ತು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನೂ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
